On Saturday, November 14th Russell Simmons hosted his annual Fundraising Gala, Dallas Rocks in Dallas, TX for his Diamond Empowerment Fund charity.
Sisters Vanessa and Angela Simmons presented Jenna Bush-Hager and Barbara Bush with the Rising Star Empowerment Award for the charitable work they’ve done in Africa. Dallas Rocks is an annual event benefitting The Diamond Empowerment Fund (D.E.F.), a non-profit organization founded in 2007 to raise funds for programs that empower through education in African nations where diamonds are a natural resource.
