Breast Cancer continues to impact people from all backgrounds; there are significant differences within the mortality rates among racial groups. From 2000-2003, African American women had a 36 percent higher death rate than Caucasian women, giving them the poorest survival rate of any other racial or ethnic group for Breast Cancer.

Monica's new show airs on BET this Tuesday!

After a brief hiatus from the music industry, Monica is back in the spotlight with an intimate, profound docu-drama that takes a look at her day-to-day world in the new original BET series MONICA: STILL STANDING. Trey Songz to headline Aids Awareness Concert

On Saturday November 21, 2009 Grammy nominated and Atlantic Records recording artist Trey Songz will be headlining live in concert at the ASU Fox Theatre in San Bernardino, CA for the "READY HIV/Aids Awareness Concert" with celebrity guest appearances and performances.

The concert will be located at 374 West Court Street, San Bernardino, CA 92401 and vendor stationing at 4pm, concert opening at 5pm and last till approximately 11pm. Trey Songz released his 3rd studio album "Ready" September 2nd 2009 debuting at #3 on Billboard 100 and is completing his first headlining tour on behalf of BET this fall. The "READY" concert will include recording artists such as Miguel Jontel of Jive Records (RB/Pop), Jah-Free of Warner Bros Records (Hip-Hop/Pop), and Meaku of Timeless Entertainment (RB/Pop/Hip-Hop).

The purpose of this concert is to spread awareness of the HIV/AIDS epidemic that affects millions of people in the United States and Africa every year. The Empire in alliance with Kastle In The Air plan to have vendors associated with spreading HIV/AIDS awareness dangers as well as sponsors and influential organizations in the community at the venue for over the 2,500 expected ticket holders.
